I just purchased a used Avid Mojo. I don't know the model number, but it's not the SDI one, but the one that was from 3-4 years back or so. I am trying to use it with Avid Express Pro 5.1.3, but when I play back something on the Avid timeline, all I see on the TV monitor is very warbled, black and white fuzz. If I look very closely, I can see a little bit of the picture, but it's pretty well completely messed up on the TV monitor that the Mojo is outputting to. I did all the obvious troubleshooting things such as restarting the computer, re-installing Mojo drivers, re-installing Avid, checking the connections, etc. I just asked the person from whom I bought this from and she said it sounds like the Mojo is switched on to PAL and that there is an easy way to switch it to NTSC from within Avid. Does anyone know anything about such a switch? I couldn't find it. Also, any other suggestions on how to get this to work? Thanks! Post
Pauly49 Need more scoop here.... how is the Mojo connected exactly and to what is it connected? The editor is what drives NTSC versus PAL so not sure what the eprson is referring too. What camera or deck so you have and how is it connected? FYI…. First of all, the firewire interface for the analog Mojo cannot be on the same PCI bus as any storage devices. For examples of different configurations, go to www.avid.com/products/dna/. Marianna
