Hey guys, really need your help here for a deadline! Whenever I export a quicktime reference from my SD (30i) project (either straight to Sorenson or not) I get an HD sized (1900) quicktime. The render time for the DVD mpeg is near 6 hours! The show is only 32 minutes long. Any thoughts? I'm running 3.5 on an adrenaline, HP box, qiucktime 7.6. I was running 7.5.5 so I uninstalled that and the reinstalled 7.6 as well as the avid le and pe codeces but no dice. Any thoughts?

I forgot to note the computer is one at work, the one in my sig is my home box.
Just tried starting a new project, importing the bin, and exporting through the new project, and iI get the same thing. All my qt settings are, at native dimensions and I tried 16:9 just to see, but same results.
Bump?
Just an update for anyone still looking:
Our show was all in Avid 1:1x
As a dummy test I did a mixdown to Pro50 and exported a qt reference of that. The size is now correct (720x486 and not 1920x1080)
What gives? Can anyone try to duplicate my issue? Or am I just missing something?
What is Pro50?
I am doing the same thing many times and didn't see anything like that.
SD export to QT ref and from there to Avid DVD.
Any screenshot of the export dialog?

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that the original source material was shot in 1080i. What is the origins of your source material??
I have the same problem when exporting mixed SD/HD sequences: if there's even a single HD clip the QT defaults to an HD resolution, no matter what...
