    Timecode in from a PMW-EX30

Has anyone managed to find a way to digitize from the XDCAM EX30 deck w/ retention of source timecode? TC is embedded in the HD-SDI, but turning off deck control in Capture only allows system TOD TC. The EX30 deck itself has no RS-422, and the HDV out only works if your footage is in the less desirable SP 25Mb format, so no ability to pull TC info from a FW stream when working w/35 Mb material.

Tried to convert TC via a Convergent Design HD Connect LE, but the HDV input stream is not recognized unless SP 25Mb from the deck. This also knocks off the HD Connect MI, as it requires 1394 to control the deck, but again, there'll be nothing active on the 1394 port when the deck's in 35 Mb mode. Been looking for an HDMI to something/anything timecode that I can get into the SN. It does not even need to have deck control, as long as timecode can be read from the source media via the EX30.
