Any sequence I play will eventually crash, usually within 10 minutes. I get the error "Exception: FILE_OTHER, Filename: G:\OMFI MediaFiles\Edit7\xxxxxxx.mxf". If I hit OK and try to play again, I immediately get a similar message, except with an aif extension. It will do this until I reboot the computer. Here is what my console spits out during and after the event. (HP xw8200, MC Adrenaline 2.2.15, Unity 3.5.)

The Exception error does not come up until all the audio underrun errors have occured, which takes less than a minute.

We put the editor who was having the problem in another edit suite and she has been working on the project for hours with no issues. I've also opend a few different projects from different shows and different unity locations and I will get this error no matter what.

I've trashed the user setting, made a new user, imported a problematic bin into a new project, created a local project, and none of that has worked. It's almost like this tower is losing connection to Unity, but I get no errors from my ATTO card and the drives never unmount. I can even explore them via the desktop at any time during or after the errors.

Any wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

This is a weird one.....  Normally underruns on playback are related to low bandwidth data connections etc... or a drive related issues - speed can play a factor.

I suggest you call in to support and have one of the tech's work this with you.  Could be many things...... and you might need a unity tech on this one.

Faulty ATTO card was the issue. Swapped it and haven't had a so much as a hiccup. Thanks for the lead!
