Quick question for anyone who knows more about this than I (which means pretty much everyone...:-) )
Can the RSS Plug-In in DekoCast be pointed at a locally-stored .XML or .RSS file or does it demand that the data come from an online source? I've got an .XML file stored locally on the DekoCast and I'd like to point to that as a data source (long story...), but no matter how I try to construct a file:/// URL, DekoCast refuses to see it, giving the following error:
api ID:-1 RSSExtractor.Plugin.DownloadRSSFeed: Send status was NOT OK; Status -> 0
And...if I can use a locally-stored .XML file, what format does the URL need to be in for the RSSExtractor plug-in? I've heard five different things from five different people on exactly how to convert a D:\ file path into a URL...
TIA!

This is a bug and will be fixed at the next release of DekoCast. The path will be specified as you noted: file://D:\...
We do not yet have a target date for this update as of yet, but I am hoping it will be relatively soon.
