Two days ago one of our HP xw8200 got a blue screen during startup. Unfortunately I cant remember the exact error but it had something to do with a phisical memory dump. There was no way to start windows (safe mode, etc.). This morning I turned it on, and it started with no problem. I dove into the Event Viewer to get some detail. Here what I found:Shortly after the boot process starts, an error gets logged which says "Avid Startup service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this one time."If the Adrenaline is hooked up, then shortly after this error I get about 8 error that say "Flamethrower could not access bus drive async the write failed. Submitlrp failed." But the system runs fine.If the adrenaline isn't hooked up, I dont get the flamethrower error, but Avid Startup still fails. This machine was just re-imaged with a drive we use as a master to clone across 15 different edit suites, all xw8200's. This machine could easily be re-imaged and go back online, but while it's slow I want to use it as a test subject, because I noticed that both error exist across all the machines imaged with that drive. They have been running great, but I want to be prepared if they all start blue-screening like this one did. Any ideas?-Dan
I just started getting this same error.
Flamethrower could not access bus drive async write failed submitlrp failed
This happened while the editor was editing clips.
Anyone experiencing this?
dont know if this helps u at all, but i get this error when a incompatible camera is plugged in. I think it has to do with the firewire card your using and if it is integrated or not. I can digitize just fine, but when i try to play back even thoguh it seems to display fine ont he cmaera it causes that error.
