This error pops up very often on our Newscutter 7.1.1 with Nitris DX machines.
Anyone?

On what storage are you working? This usually means that your drives are not keeping up.

We work on ISIS storage. Our MC Nitris DX, NC Adrenaline, NC Mojo and NC and MC software machines have no problem. (XW8200, XW8400, XW8600)

I've recently been getting this same error on our MC Nitris DX - anyone else seen this? It only started within the last couple of weeks. It's a xw8600 approved system with 4 146G Avid Media Drives and a 1 TB Avid VideoRaid.
I am having the same problem with a brand new DX Symphony. In fact it's pretty much useless so far. Did you get anywhere with this? Again, no problems on the same machine with MC + SDI mojo. I am running an 8 core Mac Pro with the correct specs APART from my graphics card is not the one they recommend. I've ordered the correct one, but I have a sinking feeling that it won't solve the problem :-(
Thanks
I don't have a foolproof diagnosis, but I'm pretty sure it had to do with the video card, possibly a driver corruption. I was having monitor flickering as well, and switched back to an old set of monitors that didn't have a dvi port. After I did that, the error stopped happening. However, the replacement monitor started flickering again, so I reloaded the proper NVidia drivers, and all seems to be OK.
My problems seem to have gone away for now. I wondered whether upgrading to 4 (I had a code) would force the DX to be reprogrammed. It did indeed get re-flashed, I was getting A LOT of hardware crashes and now I am not!
Still going to upgrade to the correct video card to be sure.
