    Gear for stereoscopic set up?

The guys I'm working for are looking to do a couple shows in 3D and I've started looking for information regarding approved gear for the Avid but haven't found any so far.

Does anyone know if the nVidia glasses and Samsung set up are approved/working for a Mac Symphony?

And instead of the Samsung could we use the glasses and our Sony BVM-L230?

Or can anyone point me to a good resource for this stuff. What I've found so far lacks in specifics, especially where Macs are concerned.

    Thanks.

As I understand it you need a 3D set. JVC makes one also.

I think JVC was the "Procision" model. At least thats the one I've seen. I saw it play off a BluRay disc. The image was comprised of the Left Eye/Right Eye squeezed onto the same frame, then the Procision would take the image and unsqueeze it for presentation. It worked really, really well even though you were looking at 2 half res images.

I saw an example of FCP playing out to this yesterday at the HD expo. You're right, the FCP timeline had two half images squeezed into one. Looked very cool with the glasses on.
