One Or More Workspaces Failed To Unmount

    MacPro 3GHz, G5 Dual, G5 Quad

    OS Tiger

    MCA 2.8.3

    Unity 5.0.1

    Fibre Manager Client 5.1.2

Occasionally when we try to unmount workspaces through Fibre Manager, we get the warning "One Or More Workspaces Failed To Unmount." It takes some time to work around it to finally kick the drives off: quitting out of Avid, then unmounting the drives. Sometimes it takes quitting Avid, then quitting Fibre Manager (the drives still are "mounted"). Relaunch Fibre Manager and uncheck the sticky workspaces to finally get them to go away...

    Any suggestions?

un-install Fiber Manager then reinstall it again. if you can do a fresh install then better.

Re: One Or More Workspaces Failed To Unmount

We are also seeing this on a regular basis.  We have 5 Mac OSX 10.5.7 systems.  It is completely random as to which workspace is effected.  This is happening in two buildings with two different Unity FC 5.1.2 clients. The Unity's are new Media Engines. Just today I did a full OS wipe. Fresh OS install followed by FC client 5.1.2 and Media Composer 3.5.4.  Then I had 4 of 12 workspaces mounted and after quiting Media Composer I could not unmount two of the workspaces using the "Clear All" button.   I then pressed "Clear All" again and one more unmounted. And then pressing it a third time unmounted that last workspace. Each time (except the last) I got the error "One or more workspaces failed to unmount."

This is not a critical problem but being told about this at least 15 times a week is getting old.

    Any ideas?
