can i get the ideal specs for the best compression to send 3 minute video via emails? much appreciated

I'd like to suggest first that you fill our your system specifications in your profile, so we'll know what version of what Avid product you're using.  Second, let us know what compression programs you have access to, and finally that you post in the appropriate forum for whatever Avid program you're using.  This is the forum for User Groups.

Since you're a new user, click on your name, then "edit my profile" and then the "profile options" tab. You'll see a field for entering system specs. Carl's link will tell you what we need to know from you.
