Mission impossible: Recheckin from Access to MC 3.11

    Hello Avid,

after i have updated the MC-Software to 3.11, i cannot make a recheckin from Access to MC. (Pickin the clip or sequence in Access and drop it into a bin in the MC.)

There is a error message coming, "javaNull Pointer"...

Can you help? It worked with 3.0 fine, but not with 3.11

    Thanks for your help..

    what version of Interplay?

And is there a reason for not doing the check-in through the interplay window inside MC?

Re: Mission impossible: Recheckin from Access to MC 3.11

Please confirm your version of Interplay. That error ususally points to an Access issue. In your case it sounds like your core servers are on an older version than your editor. Are your core servers running Interplay 1.4 or 1.4.2? If so by upgrading your editor your have now broken your bundle.

If you upgraded your editor to 3.1.1 you also need to upgrade all interplay components on that box to Interplay 1.5. By that I mean, Access, Framework, Media Indexer and Transfer client (if applicable) should be brought up to version 1.5. That is the only supported way to update the client without upgrading the servers.
