    capturing from Sony Z1U

    I can not get my Media Composer to recognize my Z1U as a deck.  I am trying to capture 1080i/59.94 footage.  I have Meda Composer v. 2.8.1 on my PC.  Its an upgrade from XPressPro HD w/ Mojo.  Can someone help.

    Check your camera VTR settings. Look for thing like

    HDVDV set to HDV; Video out to 10801; iLink set to OFF

    how did you connect the Z1 to your computer? If you did it via mojo: that is your problem. Mojo cannot handle HDV. If so... take the mojo out of the line and connect the cam to your computer via Firewire. Configure the channel as such
