receiving bad data, try power cycling the HDV device

I get this error while importing HDV video from RAID Drive into Avid MC.

receiving bad data, try power cycling the HDV device

I did google search and forum search which cam up with nothing.  Most of the files imported just fine, but several did not.  They originated from the SONY HVR-DR60 recording unit, which has always worked fine in the past.  The videos play fine on the hard drive, just do NOT import into Avid.

Re: receiving bad data, try power cycling the HDV device

I found that one of the clips had glitches in it.  Not sure how a glitch was created in the recording unit, but at any rate, I converted file using TMPeg and a default HDV setting to recreate an HDV file and it imported correctly into MC.  The other few files that would not import however, do NOT have glitches in them.
