    best way to import AVI/MOV/MPEG

Hi all! Is there a way to avoid the long waiting when importing AVI/MOV files into Avid? AAF files could be the solution... Premier export them and it´s fast... is there other way to improve importing time into Avid? I´ve tryed to import .mov files with DV codec and i wait... with uncompressed codec... and wait! Any tips? Thank you! Barcelos
