    CONSOLE... pros and cons!

     Hi all!

I know the answer but i would like your opinion.

Is there a problem having the console tool open?

All my workspaces have that "option" on (console)

For me is very useful... apply functions, see duration of the selected items and... error information!

Those are a few "pros" can you tell me the "cons" - your opinion, please!

    Thank you all

The console tool is a very powerful access into the software. As such, as good as it is, it is also somewhat dangerous in that an errant command (if not kicked back as non-understandable) can cause MAJOR problems. For this reason, I would never have it open except when there is a need to use it. And even then, use it very carefully.

    Re: CONSOLE... pros and cons!

     Hi Larry,

    Thank you for your msg!

I agree with you, it´s a powerful tool and you have to use it for the correct purpose.

So, if you know how to use them (functions), there´s no problem having the console on your screen to see some details of your sequence / bin / system, correct!

It´s a "normal" window that can be open when you need, if you need! (it´s another window in your monitor)

It is said that it uses more system memory... i don´t see it that way! (and this is what i would like to comment). I have other /big) problems when i´m editing, console window is the minus problem.

    Thank you
