Hi all, I'm supposed to cut some stuff digitized with an old Media 100, the clips come from unrecoverable DVDs, I know I could tape them and capture those tapes in Avid, but qualitywise I'd rather to import them without going through tape; I'm willing to export QT ref from the Media 100 and import them in Avid (bringing the external HD with the digitized stuff along with the QT ref files), is there such a thing as a Media 100 codecs for Windows installer, or for OSX at least; and if yes: anyone knows of a web address for downloading?
Thank You for reading up to this line

A few years ago I found Media 100 quicktime-codecs for windows... .but lost them (during new install).... but there might be some for mac....

click "media 100i" - there are some media 100 legacy codecs, it might be what you are looking for ....
good luck
Thank You for answering, is there anybody else with a solution for Windows?
For windows was iFinish. But if you use reference export you can't open this at PC.

To anyone who may be interested: it is my understanding that Media 100 11.5 shipped with 2 CDs one of wich containing the Windows codecs, but I seem to be unable to find this software anywhere on the web. As for the Mac codecs some are available for download from the Media 100 website, but I'm not too keen about importing in a Mac and transferring to the PC where I'm going to edit; unless I come across the Windows codecs very soon I'll give up and go for the tape way, wich is going to be faster; but thank You again for Your attention.
