    Select multiple clips and layers in segment mode

    I know you can use alt and drag from the left in the timeline, but here is an alternative.

     

    turn on the layers you want,

    clear in/out points,

    turn on segment mode,

    select in/out. 

    This can be used with add edits for more specific selections.
