When I place a crawling title created in the Title Tool on the timeline, it plays back jittery and blurred once it is rendered. It appears to have something to do with the video layer beneath it since the same crawl plays fine over other video. The video in question is a 30 second spot that was captured in the Avid from a DVC Pro tape using 1:1 MFX capture setting. From all appearances, it seems OK.
I've also noticed that as the spot plays, the crawl will stabilize for just a second when the shots change, but then the crawl gets jittery again.
Any suggestions or ideas for correcting will be appreciated. Thanks.
Any chance that you accidentally created the title in a DV res and, therefore, you are mixing frame sizes? That might cause what you are seeing. Check the resolution of the title and the video to be sure they match

The resolutions seem to match so I don't think that is the problem.
Hi,
Graham Lorch:The resolutions seem to match so I don't think that is the problem.
Not to be a pain, but this sounds like you're not certain. If you display the Video column in the bin with your crawl, what does it say?
good luck,Carl

No problem, I appreciate your help. The video column in the bin with the crawl and the spot it is over on the timeline lists them both as "1:1 NTSC"
