I'm a mild deko user, and as tring to save some adjusted Options>Preferances>Paths settings to a deko page. 

It has got to be somthing simple

I have tried changing the Paths preferances then saving the deko page but they don't seem to take

To save preferences in Deko you can use macro that's hooked up to your graphics or emebdded in one of the layers.

Preferences macro would look like this:

@preference = preference

graphic_dir=D:\PathTo\Graphics \

style_dir=D:\PathTo\Styles \

macro_dir=D:\PathTo\Macros \

motion_dir=D:\PathTo\Motion \

face_dir=D:\PathTo\Faces \

-fastaction_function_keys -enhanced_keypad -autoplay_macros \

clip_database_path=C:\Deko3000\Database\YourClipDatabase.mdb \
