    Storgae usage

    Hi

    Anybody got any ideas how much space 10 hours of video would take up. It will be SDI video with 2 channels audio, plus titles, renders etc etc. Taken it at 10:1.

    I am going to do a few test but was wondering what the rule of thumb is.

     

    Any ideas much appreciated.

    10:1 with 2 audiochannels takes up about 3.93GB per 30 mins of footage.

    If you open the Help of your Avid application and search for "estimated storage requirements", you will find an elaborate list of resolutions and estimations. Also, there's some info in the Knowledge Base
