    Avid MCA (software ony)

     Greetings...

    We are thinking to replace our weared Avid Media Composer V7.1 with a new station (software + mojo SDI), I just checked the Avid Mojo SDI, but I'm not sure if it can accept the signal from our Sony PVM2800 VTR, any ideas and suggestions?

    From this site Avid Mojo SDI includes: 

    Input and output breakout cables for SDI, Component & Composite

    The PVW doesn't have SDI out so you'll need to use the component instead.

    You could get a Mojo with the component option, but I don't know if they are still available.  I was under the impression that product was EOL.
