    machine templates

HI I am working on a XpressPro 5.7 system with Mojo SDI and need to get the following deck templates: HVR-1500, PDW-F75, and HVR-M10U.

    Any ideas?

All of the deck control templates your version of software supports is in Deck configuration.

It depends on how you have your decks connected.  I will assume you have them connected Firewire.

If you auto configure your deck, you will probably see "Generic DV device".  You can change this manually by choosing your Settings tab and choose Deck Configuration. Here you will see your Firewire on OHCI and a "Generic DV device" option.  You can Select Generic DV device and manually specify your DV device for better operation.

This is a throwback to deck control using 422 Sony protocol.  The Avid would talk to the deck, and the deck would respond with it's type.  This allowed Avid to address it properly.  DV devices do not respond with their type, so a Generic is assigned to get it working, but choosing the proper deck will be more eficient.

You name it, I've seen it. [view my complete system specs]
