Hey Guys,
Am I correct in that BCC running on MC 3.0.1 will automatically default to advanced keyframes, and that there's nothing you can do about it? In searching posts referring to earlier versions of MC, it looks like AVX 1 or 1.5 does not automatically default. Is it possible to Install BCC as an AVX 1 or 1.5 on MC 3.0.1?
Thanks a bunch!
Andy
Well, since Avid's 1.5 AVX folder is still there, I would assume you could.
You are correct about BCC opening in AKE but what's the problem with that?
Do you really want to know what's wrong...or do you just want me to fix it?

You can request a license, or licenses, from Boris that will make BCC/AVX backward compatible to v3.0 and v4.0. This will allow you to conform older effects. Then, they can be "promoted" to "Advanced Keyframing" (v5.x compatible).

The young man I have working here doesn't like or need them for the Chromakeying he's doing. It basically adds another step to his workflow, ie: linear moves versus bezier. He asked me if he could "turn it off" or change the default. After a search, I couldn't find anything except what I stated above. We'll try installing the 1.5's and see if we can make the lad happy. By the way, I'm still using the BCC that came with the MC 2.8 upgrade.
Thanks guys!
