    Spectramatte weirdness in 3.0

    Hi all,

Have been using Spectramatte for the first time in any involved way in a 720 25p project in 3.0 with DVCPRO HD. Oddly, when I drop the effect on a clip, there is no first/last keyframe as there is with any other effect. When promoting the effect to 3D, still no first or last keyframe. I quickly found that adding my own first/last  meant the two were linked, i.e any change in value was  reflected in the other. I then tried keyframes close to the beginning and end, which sometimes work and sometimes don't, very  buggy behaviour! I've been doing lots of comps with changing position and scaling and its been tedious to say the least though I've got there in the end. Has anyone else seen this? Have been back on 2.8 somewhere else on a xw8400 the last couple of days and behaviour with Spectramatte has been tip top.

Hmm, that doesn't happen here but It did happen to me in one of the early beta builds.

Instead of working with keyframes under the (record) monitor, promote the effect to the advanced keyframes editor and try it there. If you need help using the AKE, just let me know.

Do you really want to know what's wrong...or do you just want me to fix it?
