I have done evrything i had to ......

But in the restored training project , i cant see file extension ( .clip , . segment  ....and so on ....)

So i cant recapture and use this material ...

I know this has to do with windows security updates .....

Any help would be great .

Hey Slam, I'm having the same issue on my training station software. I'm out of country on a job until this Thursday, once I'm back, I'll try to sort this out with Avid and post the answer.

It's a Windows XP 32-bit Security Update (KB908531) that breaks the DS Explorer and Media Tool.  Search the Avid Knowledge base or Avid DS Support center for details.
