    Adrenaline 1.8.1 on an Evo W8000

     As a digitizing station I have installed Adrenaline 1.8.1 with an SDI mojo in a W8000 tower.  I can digitize fine, but on playback, it stutters a lot.  No underrun messages, just lots of stutter.  I reckon it might be the lack of ram at 1GB, or maybe the firewire card is in the wrong slot?  Any info appreciated.

    ...now that you mention it, it has the original Quadro 4 750 XGL.  I tried to fit a 1400 but it just wouldn't show any picture at all, even bios.  I guess I am doomed to digitizing only if it can't take a newer card.

    You may have to adjust the BIOS to use PCI rather than AGP ... just a guess,
