moving work area in zoomed in FX mode

OK so I'm old and can't remember stuff.....While in FX mode drawing an animatte I want to zoom into the area I am masking to see better.  i know I can zoom straight in or control click the area and it will zoom in or out from where I am clicking...but I want to move the area i am working in without zooming in or out...I just want the hand to let me grab the area of interest a la Pshop AE and everything else in the world....surely i have done this before!!!!

    Cheers and

    thanks to all
