Using MC 3.0 and a canopus acedvio. I can no longer capture using manual deck control. 2.8.3 worked fine. Can someone test this out on there system. Thanks.
It would help to know exactly what is happening to prevent you from capturing. Are you getting an error? Do you no longer see video or audio?

I cant see video or hear audio in the source monitor. If I click record I get a message saying "video and/or audio is no longer coming into the system".
1394 capture direct from the camera, yes?
Are you connected into a supported 1394 card in your PC, or using a motherboard 1394 connection? (Can't tell in the posted system config).
Ok, suddenly it started working again.
Ok, so now I have another problem. The colors are all screwed up. They are inverted and gray. About every 10 seconds the colors will switch back to normal and then go back to inverted again. I checked and replaced the cables and the problem is still present. This doesn't happen on my Avid training dvd though. I wonder if this has something to do with copy protection? Here's a screen shot.
Check the levels on your video input tool.

You are correct, that looks like an issue with the analog Macrovison copy protection. It doesn't happen with a non copy protected DVD, correct?
"It doesn't happen with a non copy protected DVD, correct?" Correct.
