This might be true if you buy the box but if you have upgraded with Avid Assurance do you not get them?

No. Only if you purchase the Boxed software will you get the updated third party apps.

Last night I purchased the download version upgrade, not knowing this.

Is there a way I can pay the difference, and get the other bonus materials shipped?  I'm really hoping that I didn't just screw myself out of Avid DVD, BCC 5, Sorensen 5, Avid FX just because of choosing the download version, considering I can't really "re-upgrade" myself.

I've e-mailed support, so I'm hoping they can do something for me.

If you email  me your contact info and your System ID and Dongle serial number, I can get into this with Avid in the morning and see what some begging might do.

 I await  the outcome with interest, there are a number of us who for one reason or another feel aggrieved at the way these 3rd party apps have been bodged on this upgrade.

Can anyone tell me if BCC5 works peoperly. with the Nvidia quadro FX 1500 and MC 3

The reason I would upgrade is because previous version, with several effects, now renders with field order issues, not because they have added many new exciting effects that I would like to use.

This is a bit anoying really seeing that I have to pay to upgrade my now broken effects.

I have final effects and other old AE effects that run through elastic gasket that render beautifully.

Have Boris Effects got a deliberate built in redundancy? I can only imagine they have.
