I have upgraded to MC 3.0 and am enjoying it, but I have decided I might as well start looking into upgrading my Legacy and almost pointless hardware (The Original Mojo with CLK functionality). I was looking at the Mojo DX and Symphony Nitris DX, but seeing as I still have 2 years left at my college, I didn't know if there was a similar discount for either of these two boxes on the horizon much like the Original Mojo was 700 dollars off and the Mojo SDI was 900 dollars off. I know it would still be pretty pricey to purchase one of the boxes, but seeing as I want to specialize in post, I want to begin investing in the tools to have a full education with the proper tools.
So, have there been any updates on availability/pricing for education users like myself or is that still being worked out? Is there a timeline? I really would like to know anything that I can in regards to the new hardware and educational pricing so I can start figuring out how to actually afford one!
Certified System? Whats that? :) BRING ON THE PAIN!
Avid does not publish the price for the DX hardware theire answer for the DX is "Contact one of our educational resellers or your Avid Account Executive for pricing"
Its a secret that only the resellers have the answer for that.
