How come we never saw bugs in Adobe's products release or microsoft or ...
while in Avid with each release there's an issue, not to say many.
I DO still like Avid, and i was and still in its deffence,
but do you think that it is acceptable?
regardless of who's fault it is, why did they release it?
aren't they affraid of being sued, selling a product that does not work with their own hardware!
(am talking about MC version 3 and its compatibility with Mojo and Adrenaline)

Ever hear of Vista? 'Nuff said . .

Um ... please read the EULA ... they're quite safe.
Meanwhile, Apple's own OS isn't always compatible with their own applications or hardware ...

Heck, why read the EULA? Just scroll down and click "Agree!" Who cares what you agree to? Am I right people?!?!?

Then again, do you think that the recent Avid Bugs are acceptable?
ok let's keep on justifying Avid's mistakes and pretend that this is the way to push that company forward.

Rubbish. To make a statement like that just demonstrates your own inexperience. I cannot recall a totally bug-free version of any Adobe product that I've used. As for Microsoft, well, I guess they just issue those regular "updates" because they enjoy doing it.
There are inevitably bugs in any software of this size and Avid does their best to fix them. So do other software manufacturers, by the way. Of course, there always manufacturers who describe their bugs as "undocumented features". Avid is not one.
And Apple's market share is more a factor of clever marketing than anything else. It wasn't so long ago that they broke FCP with a new release of QT. It took them quite a while to admit to it too, as I recall.

Good job Avid and thank you for your inevitably bugs in each release, keep up with this performance and no other competitor will reach your/our glory.

Ever thought Avid has a policy of disclosure for a lists of known bugs - and the other companies just make you believe that they don't have any?Let me ask, would you rather have a software release that gives you heads up to known issues that, behind the curtain, they should be working on.. or would you rather have software release that does not disclose this info upfront and, when they release a 'new version', they seem like gods because some of the 'unknown' issues were rectified.I don't think the thread responses are to 'convince' you... but to ask you to think before you post something that is so ridiculous that you actually believe when other companies release their programs they are bug free.On another note - the "This Topic Sucks" is quite funny, considering you started the topic.

And ultimately you miss the point. Neither Solopost nor myself are Avid employees. We're Avid users. And in my case I'm also an experienced Adobe, FCP, and Lightworks user as well. So we could care less about what others feel about Avid. It's just another tool.
But as Randall posted in reply to you in another thread (can't speak for Solopost here), I only feel moved to post when I see an error of fact or I feel that I can help. To make the statement that only Avid releases software with bugs is demonstrably untrue.
Wake up and smell the coffee!

CLose this thread. This is troling because only ingorance orl trolling would explain why would some one say MS, Adobe, x, etc. has never have any bug issues.
MS? Win Me, Win XP, Win 95, etc.
Adobe? Photoshop, Premiere, AE, etc.
Bugs are the reality of code writting.
