Relink a sequence from DNxHD 120 to PAL 10:1

    Hi everybody,

I have a footage in HD that i've captured in 25p at DNxHD 120 in MXF. I also captured the same footage in PAL (10:1), downconverting from the HD CAM deck, using the SDI output.

I've edited the sequence in Media Composer: 1080 25p.

Now, I've imported the sequence inside a PAL project, and I want to relink the sequence to the PAL media instead of the DNxHD 120 media. Is this possible?

If so, how can I do it?

I've tried moving the DNxHD 120 media outside the AvidMediaFIles folder, deleting the databases, and then, inside de 25p PAL projetct, use the relink option, but it doesn't work.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you all

Are the tapenames/TC info all the same for both sets of media?

What I would do is switch to an SD project format, then in Relink choose "Relink to Specific Resolution" (choose 10:1)

As long as the tapenames and TC matches both sets of files, then you should be able to relink via that method.
