Is selecting the end of the last frame in a clip possible?

I may be missing something obvious in my manual and help file, but I was trying to do a one frame audio fade to eliminate a pop I can't edit around at a cut. On the second clip at the cut I am able to set a key frame a the 0 frame position and a key frame at the +1 frame position and make a fade between them. At the first clip (in front of the cut) I can't seem to select the end of the clip. I can only pick end -1 frame and end -2 frames leaving an entire frame of silence after the fade.

If there is some modifier or other command to select the end of the clip in front of a cut I would love to know how to do it. I apologize in advance for my ignorance.

In the timeline window, hit the home key.  You're now on the first frame of your clip.  Apply an audio dissolve, starting at the cut.

If you need to do it at the other end, hit the end key while in the timeline window.  Apply the dissolve, this time ending at the cut.
