    MC 2.8.3 Crash Upon Launch of Capture Tool

    Do you guys have any idea what might cause Media Composer to crash immediately upon launch of the Capture Tool?  I've tried with existing project and with a new project.

    Does it crash with nothing attached to the CPU and no media online?

    The media is offline because it is a project that came from another system.

    Should I disconnect the drives?

    I would. Disconnect everything. If  the system launches, then  you can focus  your troubleshooting as you add hardware back.

    New user settings seems to have resolved whatever was bugging it out.
