Any news about digidesign/MC 3.0 compatibility?

I know that current version i believe offers some compatibility with digidesign like through the 002 and command 8 for faders, not sure about exactly all thats possible but anyway, is MC 3.0 going to have the same support? will it support the 003?

any idea about anything in the future on the audio side/digidesign or m-audio hardware integration/working nicer with protools?  hopefully someone has some really awesome and positive news!

The only official statement was at NAB there Avid's CEO said the integration must be better.

So you are looking for hardware compatability?

Personally I would like to see the software versions same CPU partiton compatable.

As you step forward in versions of each the QT requirement from each remain in step with each other.

The DNA or DX firmware requirement stay in step etc.

definately agree with you there of course.  it would be nice though to have the option for m-audio/digidesign products to be used for audio punch-in and use of things like faders for the simple audio editing in MC.  while it is indeed a pain in the ass to have a dual boot system, one for avid, the other for protools, its still a lot better than having two seperate workstations cost wise.

but definately allowing them to be both used under one OS setup would be REALLY REALLY REALLLLLY awesome!  oh please let my fantasies come true.....
