Monitoring After Effects on a broadcast monitor

    Hello all-

We are looking to upgrade our graphics department and my question is  how do most of you monitor After Effects on a broadcast monitor during design? Do you use a Black Magic Decklink, Aja, Matrox MXO, or other? I am looking for an option that will handle HD and SD. We need to make this upgrade becuse I get tired of the the client saying the color on their logo doesn't look like it did in the graphics room.

One other question, is it possible to hook the graphics room to unity on ethernet as opposed to fibre and still be able to use Automatic duck pro import AE if I use reference media in the AAF?

    Thanks

We use the Black Magic Decklink cards here.

Do you really want to know what's wrong...or do you just want me to fix it?
