Guys,
We're currently looking at upgrading our Adrenalines to the new Symphs. As we often go back to old projects, we're concerned that:
a) when restoring an Adrenaline Project in the Symph, the grade won't be transferrable (i.e. won't work and will flash an error like when we try and open a Meridian project now);
b) If it is transferrable, what would happen if we try and open a new Symph project on an old Adrenaline? Wouls it work? Will Secondaries etc... just disappear etc...
Ra-ey Q: "How many Editors does it take to change a lightbulb?" A: "Why do you want to change it?"
Ra-ey:
Unless I'm mistaken, I believe the only restriction is that any secondary color correction made in Symph would playback in Adrenaline as long as it was rendered on Symph first. Any alteration to that effect in Adrenaline would negate any secondary corrections, unless it was returned to Symph for repair. I don't think there is any problem for Symph to read Adrenaline files.
