Hello Avid Folks,

Can anyone say if there is any reason why one of the new MC Nitris DX systems running on an XW 8600 should have any problems with a Nvidia 4600 SDI graphic card?

I am not intending to use the SDI output from this card whilst working on AVID, but if its in the system shouldnt be a problem should it?

Why would you want to when the FX 3700 is the qualified card?  What are you wanting to do that the 3700 won't do for you?

Its not that I want to do anything special with the 4600. I just happen to have that card on the system right now. Eventually I will rejig things and put a 3700 card into the system with the Nitis DX.

I just wonder if there is any driver incompatability or some such. I dont imagine so. I  think I read somewhere that the new Avids support Nvidea 3700 "and above" if my memory serves me.
