I have a situation that has myself and tech support stumped. So I want to throw it out there to see if anyone else has had this happen to them, and if so how to fix it.I have a MediaDock 320 filled with 12 Avid146 drives. It is running in dual bus mode. I have the 12 drives stripped into 3 mounted drives, each stripe with 2 drives on each bus. Does that make sense? My problem is that one of the stripes will not capture at 1:1. The other two will.Running the benchmark test in Express Stripe - all three stripes benchmark the same. And running Avid Storage Manager says that all the drives are fineI have tried moving the drives around in the mediadock. I have updated the driver for the ATTO UL4D. I have updated the OS to 10.4.11 and MC to 2.8.3.The fact the all three stripes are spanning both buses is what really has me stumped. Because if it's happening to one stripe it should then be happening to all of them.So I'm looking for suggestions, anything to help me figure out what's going on.Mark JohnsonPSI haven't noted everything I've done, but yes I've trashed site settings, created new user, rebuilt the media databases. The above is just the highlights.
Is there any diference in the Rev's of the drives? Do they all have the same firmware? If the problem follows the drives, then it's drive related. I've run ASM for 3-4 straight, before a drive was "failed". You may want to test them for an extended period. If you have the luxury of trashing the media, I'd suggest running a destructive Read/Write test.

All the drives are the same revision. I guess I'll rum ASM tonight for a while and see if I can't get 'em to fail.
