    copyright symbol

    Looking for the "copyright" symbol...i checked in the character map and I know that it exists in the "Symbol" font, but how do i get this into avid when i'm in marquee.

    I've gone through all the letters in the "Symbol" font but I can't find it. Is there a numerical code that i need to type to call it up?

    In Windows;

    Start> Programs>Accessories>Character Map. Click on the character(s) you wish to copy, then hit "Copy". Paste as usual.

    Or click on the character and look in the lower right-hand corner of the chart for the keystroke combo.

    Weird, every internet reference I look up has it as 0169.

    It is  alt 0169 for some fonts.

    Each font has it's own Character Map so you need to check this for each font. ( I find it on alt 0169 for most fonts)
