HI folks, i'm newly in register in this site... and m very new in Avid software too... and just wanna ask u guys what is the different between avid xpress pro and avid media comoposer....??? which one is more advance for editing and which one have more good effects in it?

i'm planing to take the course for video editing.... and which one will be the best?

The biggest difference is  that, after June, 'Pro will no longer exist. It is being absorbed into the MC product.

However, to answer your question, 'Pro was just a less expensive version of MC with less features. Same interface, same code base, just with some options turned off.

what is Media composer TONGLE? what is Tongle?

 It's not tongle, it's dongle. The dongle is a USB connected license key which must be plugged into your computer for the software to run. This key authorizes you to run the software. Without it, the software will not run.
