Upgraded to from 4.8 to 5.7+ now it doesn't say educational

I'm really wanting to get the upgrade to Media Composer, but I started out with the educational version. I'm really not in a situation to pay $1000 just to have my version stop saying educational.. although, since I upgraded it no longer says 'educational'. Am I alright to do the upgrade? Or do I have to get a non-educational dongle?

    Hi,

According to the upgrade FAQ, you can't upgrade from Xpress Pro academic to Media Composer commercial.

    :
Upgrade Academic Xpress Pro (any version) to a Commercial version of Media Composer (Including 3rd party Add-ons) is not an upgradable product at this time. Please contact your reseller for a price.

Sorry I don't have better news for you.

    good luck,
