Hello,
I've upgraded to MC from AXP about a week ago, and I have a couple of questions about the new interface.
First, about the 3 new buttons in the second row of the monitors toolbar, the "Source / record mode", "trim mode" and "effect mode". In AXP I used to always keep the effect editor open in the second display. Now, in MC, if I keep it open, it goes into effect mode and stays there even if I focus another window -> I can't edit anymore, becouse the timeline selects segments, the same way it did in AXP when i had the effect editor window in focus. I need to close the effect editor window in order to get back to cutting (soutce/record mode). Can this behaviour be disabled ?
Second, I'm used to using the "Go to previous / next edit" a lot (the "A" / "S" keys on the default mapping). In MC, when using them, the cursor does go to the next / previous edit. but it also automatically enters trim mode, which is not what I want. Can this be disabled also ?
Thank you,
Chris

That did the trick. Thank you.
Any clue on the first issue ?

Different way of working but after a couple of days I think it is ultimately faster. I sure miss it when going back to Pro
I'll give the TC track thing a try tomorow at the studio, but honestly I still dont see the point in not being able to have the effect editor window open at all time.
As a "workaround" I've mapped the "effect mode" toggle to the keyboard, but it still bugs me to always have to do one extra "step" for tweaking effects.
