Dual Boots...So Easy a Monkey Could Do it!!

I, like so many of you, was completely annoyed by the lack of a Leopard Update!!! But I recently undertook the arduous of the 'Dual Boot.' Strangely, it wasn't hard! I popped another hard drive in my Mac Pro, partitioned it as a second boot-able drive and installed Tiger on it. Even calling it Tiger drive, made everything really easy!!

During the install, my Mac asked me if I wanted to carry documents, settings and applications over from the existing drive on my machine, so I had it do that. I had to run some system updates and re-install my Avid Xpress pro fresh on the new drive...and Voila!!!

Of course I still had to install Leopard on my original drive, but now I'm not missing out on any of the cool new Leopard features, and I can still run my Avid Xpress pro!!! YAY!!!
