    Initializing RTR320 Video Raid

    So I am trying to set up the Avid RTR320 Video Raid on our Symphony Meridian system (Compaq EVO w8000).  I'm trying to initialize the raid in the hyperterminal like the manual says.  I get all the setting set for the hyperterminal and then nothing.  Just a blank, white window with a flashing cursor.  There is supposed to be a menu selection at this point, but I have nothing.

    Any thoughts?

    Hit ESC.

    If that does not work, try bringing in another PC.  It can be a laptop.  It does not have to be the workstation the Avid is on.
