Recently used Marquee, sort of for the first time, to create an animation of plain white text on black that is very slowly growing larger, while the kerning is increasing. Pretty basic stuff, I guess. This was in SD PAL 16x9 progressive.
The thing is: in the final result, I see the sides of the letters seem to "jitter" a little during the animation. Not sure if that is called aliasing, but it feels like the animation isn't smoothed out. Do I make sense?
Is there any setting in Marquee that will smooth this out? Or should I turn to (yet another) titling tool?
I don't find Marquee great for slow moves like this. If you've got After Effects - it does a much better job.
Thanks, I got myself the Adobe Master Collection last week, so I'll make sure to dive into it. Must addmit to be a little disappointed about Marquee because of this.
