Hello, I am an asst edtr who only knows MAC. The tech support I have getting our to-go package ready for location says that we might and will have problems with having a PC and a Mac platform both accessing media and managing from the UNITY. The editor I am working for says he has never had problems with this configuration. We are cutting using Adrenaline and I am not sure of what version of any software we are using...does anyone have a heads up on what might be a problem? Thanks, Teri
Teri:
We have a mix of PC and Mac platforms on Unity and have not experienced any such problems.

There is one bug out there right now with Unity and Mac though. Unity 5.0/MXF media/Macs are not a good combo. If you use OMF, then you should be fine.

We had a PC on our Unity with our Macs for over a year without any issues. The only gotcha we kept running into (and one reason why we switched back to Mac) was that you had to have Mac & PC versions of fonts and even then, they didn't always look the same from one platform to the other.

Thanks to all...I think I will let the techs read these! Teri
