    Can you de-select all tracks?

<ctrl>+A will select all tracks in the timeline.  Is there a shortcut to de-select all tracks?

Andrew, thanks for the quick reply.  By the way, do you know if there's a way to de-select all the "speaker" icons to turn all track monitors off?

You can also assign "deselect all tracks" to the keyboard, as well. It's done thru the command palette, menu to button option.

Re: Can you de-select all tracks?

Or you can assign them to your mouse as well. If you have a newer mouse, it often comes with software to assign keystrokes to all the extra buttons. I have my mouse sensitivity buttons (on mine they're small buttons right below the wheel) set to "cntl+a" and "shift+cntl+a". With the click of a mouse button, you can select all, or none. It's speedy and handy.
