    Export Looks Funky

My exported lossless video (send to QT-->Animation--> best) looks like this:

    http://www.markamontalto.com/jagged_example.jpg

(it looks a little better on the tv screen, but not good enough)

Does anyone know (by looking at the image) whether it's an aspect ratio problem or what?

is it possibole that I have to go back and re-digitize at DV50? I don't remember DV25 looking so JAGGED!

    help!

Are you still using  that single field resolution> IF so, that's the  problem.

Single Field seems to be the only thing that works... if I export as even or odd, I get crazy interlace lines all over the place.

any ideas how to solve this?

    I'm at a loss...

Well that's your problem. The stair stepping is because of the single field.

Can you try an experiment for me? Export as a DV stream with lower field first and see if things are any better.

Is your timeline one resolution or more?
