I recently bought MC for my intel tower and got a new dongle to go along with it. Before then, I was using Xpress Pro on the original dongle I've always had. Now that I have MC on the intel, I would like to utilize the G4 to capture footage while I'm using the Intel for editing. What is the last version of Xpress that worked on the G4 with an old graphics card and will I be able to use the old dongle after it's been updated to the latest version of Xpress?

Dual 1 gHz G4

2 GB ram

OSX 10.4.6

Quicktime 7.0

Xpress Pro 4.8.4 with OSX 10.4.6 and yes, you can.

MacPro, MacBook Pro and a Cube. The Cube doesn't do much but it looks cool. [view my complete system specs]

Hi guys,

I still have the G4 500 Mhz machine I was Using with MC 10. . . . Is it good for anything besides a paperweight?

I have 10 Avid systems, DX, Meridian and DNA. 1 MCA 1.8 on 2.5 quad G5 w/ 5 Gigs of Ram, 1 Symphony Nitris DX on eight core mac pro with 4 gig ram, 1 MC... [view my complete system specs]

Depends on if you have a boat.
